Very good nowadays

The entire market is almost comletely refurbished now. Gone are the rickety old stalls with their colourful awnings to be replaced with modern rickety new stalls with colourful pneumatic rain deflecting awnings and they have retained the Pigeons for nostalgia reasons. The market still has all the usual suspects; a cheese emporium, hods of greasy spoon cafes staffed by teenage girls with lumpy push-up bras and wizzened old hags serving dirty mugs of tea to lifes less than fortunates and gormless construction workers from the midlands. Dotted in and around is the revered vacuum cleaner parts nerd, an assortment of mobile phone loons, some pasty faced pimpley goths flogging "alternative clothing", an old bat that looks like she lives on a canal barge with lots of cats who flogs jewellery, a couple of ruddy faced fishmongers where the freshest thing you can purchase is cockles pickled in vinegar, a beardy weirdy trying to hump vinyl LP's to geography teachers, lurds of stalls flogging tacky repro "designer labels" from China, another cheese stall, a couple of pet stalls that dunt sell pets, half a dozen overpriced fruit and veg stalls and a couple of flower sellers. If you are lucky enough to get a job on the market you can while away your lunch hours looking at the puppet nutter on gentleblokes walk. It's just like being in the Dordogne.
