No, none of those, wrong part of the country
as it happens I don't often know who's calling because the phone goes down too quickly. Way I see it, anyone who has to ask me to confirm my identity doesn't *truly* want to talk to me.
Thing is - used to be that when your 'phone rang, you got a split-second frisson of gratification: "OOh!, Someone wants to talk to ME", if you like. Now you tend to think "Who the f**k's this, bothering me now."
truth be told, I have enjoyed the odd occasion when I've been very rude to the caller.
