I think that the club makes a huge effort in other areas to foster a sense of community in the region. (e.g. the soccer schools which are extremely good, the work of the study centre, Delias catering etc). Obviously all commercially driven which is reflected in the consistently impressive attendance figures and the uptake in ST sales. Let's face it, the sell out grounds are not as a result of the football.

I thought you would be quietly pleased though that they had completely screwed up their site with ads and widened the niche in the market ;)
