As Churchill Would Say.."Oooooh YES!"
Heighway would be a fantastic Academy Head. Experience, record second to none, respected throughout the game, played at the top level...I wish!
Doubt he'd want to come here and have the North Sea as part of his catchment area! And, well he must be in his 60's now, would he want to move and all the associated hassle? Of course not, but you would hope that the club might at least make a tentative enquiry, when these sort of people are available, its always worth a cheeky little punt and if he said "no" then so what?
I don't think the Club will replace David Williams, I suspect Ricky Martin will takeover and we'll manage with what we've got, though it would be nice to see Iwan get a chance as he has all his coaching badges now & said in his book he'd like to work with youngsters.
Or might it be a plan we had/have for Dion?
