Nor should he have given the Ginger Whale another year (unless he agreed a savage pay cut to put him on the same level as an ordinary squad player).
Both pooooooooooor decisions
But I am still feeling optimistic about Peter Pointer. Lappin is a gem. Chadwick was a good signing (if only he can get fit again). PG has done well with keepers, though again dogged by bad luck.
If the Turners can do a lil bit of bankrolling, we could be in for a better season.
