Best & Coyne
Leon Best
Might not be a bad signing. Big, strong targetman, gets amongst the goals-has moved about a bit though, 6 clubs I think, including loan spells-hasn't he been at Yeovil this season? Maybe he needs to settle down, have a Manager who will give him some time to develop. Yep, be happy with that one, good competition for Brown as well-I'm sure PG wants competition for all places so that would be a good thing and for Best and Brown.
Danny Coyne
Not so sure-definitely not a long term option (he's 33/34?) but then if PG see's Lewis as the long term 1st choice then maybe that why he'd consider someone like Coyne for 1,2 seasons. Has been a bit injury prone over the last year, year and a half though but a decent keeper.
David Marshall would be a brilliant signing, probably the most exciting since Hucks-I would think he will come here happily (lets be honest, Norwich would be the shop window for him and a chance to eventually move onto a big prem club-but then, as he says in his book, thats why Gunny signed for us!) but IF we can afford him and IF Celtic will let him go, thats another question-especially with Boruc being linked to a lot of clubs.
