Look at the nice comments about Andrew Fisk.
Not really done anything at King's Lynn yet he'll make it in the league.
So nice comments about a departing player mean bugger all. After all, if he really thought Thorne could do the job still, he'd sign him up form another 12 months. But he hasn't.
Conclusion: Thorne is past it.
