Hmmmm........

OK......

Let's start at the beginning......

Have you......

Any concept of an OO application?
Any concept of how web programs work?
Any concept of what a class/interface/message/delegate is?
Any concept of what a web service is?

If not, then an ASP.Net course may leave you with a load of skills but no understanding. It's nothing like VBA programming. The only similarity is in the syntax (if you use VB.Net as your development language).

There are jobs. But not many in Norwich. NU are just about the only private sector employer of any note where you could use those skills.

Salarywise......it depends. But i'm just evaluating a job offer (which will CUT my salary) and the rate seems reasonable in terms of the market. It appears that things still aren't stellar.
