Did well for Bolton when he was there-Sasa Curcic, Alan Thompson, Nathan Blake to name but three...then went to Leeds, "discovered" Jimmy-Floyd Hasslebaink when no-one else had ever heard of him!
Don't know if he did much for us though, indeed, am in agreement that our scouting network does seem a bit woeful thesedays, although Grant was encouraging when he said he would be looking all over Europe for new signings, as opposed to Worthy and his "Johnny Foreigner-no way" policy.
