You can't say that because Ipswich are pushing their kids through and giving them games, then so we should be as well. Their Academy has, and is, producing players of real quality, players that have been noted, commented about, and, in some cases, got international recognition. They've even produced TWO outstanding quality keepers at the same time, Supple and the other one (!); they are having a purple patch with their Academy and fair play to them, but it doesn't mean that we should copy that if our players aren't good enough.

And I think we will find that most of them aren't. But that isn't endemic of Norwich, but of football as a whole. You ask anyone in football, if they have 20 good youngsters and 1 or 2 first teamers come out of it, thats considered a result and that is the case at Man Utd and Liverpool as well as Norwich and Ipswich.
