As far as the youth players go most of them don't make the grade because they aren't good enough. You aren't the only one to express concern about the youth players treatment under Worthy, but none of them have actually gone on to prove him wrong.
As regards the ones still on the books - Henderson still isn't scoring, and from what I've seen of Ryan Jarvis I'm not convinced he's up to it. He minced around ineffectively at Port Vale, against Sheffield Wednesday he was hopeless and negated some good work by Thorne (strange but true). Is he actually any better than, for example, Daniel Wright?
You worry because Otsemobor didn't sign a contract with Crewe, it worries me that whilst the Jarvises and Hendo were loaned to league teams, Cave-Brown went to a part-time team 5 leagues below us.
