being honest, there wasn't that much reading involved.

You quickly learnt how to skim, find a quote you want and steal it.

But I agree, career wise the vast majority of History grads don't know what to do. So they go teach. But there are too many teachers of History. So they do an MA and get more in debt.

Then work in a call centre.
