It was only when Wenger turned up and started doing the same thing, that it really kicked off in the press. I remember Ferguson not liking that too, saying something about Wenger should keep his mouth shut and achieve something instead of managing in Japan

From there Morinho came along and gobs off all the time, getting refs to retire cos his team isn't good enough, and more recently Alladyce likes to stick his 5 minutes in knowing he can sway a referring decision if he goes on about it long enough

They're all at it these days, but ferguson patented the whole thing with his strops with the media, only talking to certain presenters and telling interviewers what questions they can ask him

Hasn't he recently just had a spat with that Chelsea bloke that's normally on Soccer AM?

It's no wonder Steve Mcclaren storms out of press conferences like a big baby, he's learnt all he knew off that dick fergusson
