Am I being unfair to think that these marines were a bunch of berks and pansies to get themselves taken hostage?
There they are, armed to the teeth, when up comes Johnny Arab, points machine guns at them and says "You are now my prisoner"
Why didn't they just point their own guns back, say "No we're not actually my good man", start the motors and f**k off over the horizon? They must have known that the Iranians weren't going to start a firefight and that a little bit of bluff calling would see them home free. Instead of which they drop their weapons and we get endless tedious namecalling.
