I saw it at my friends on Saturday night
Was a bit mashed but none out of a group of 6 or so were that impressed really - sport looked quite a lot better but the general content wasn't that impressive. I understand there are different resolutions though and I'm not sure how exactly it works. I would say it's roughly the same difference as standard TV is to DVD. Personally I'm gonna wait until the equipment hits critical mass - especially the Blu-Ray and HDDVD recorders/players. I understand that you have to pay extra for Sky HD which is a total disgrace IMHO as the £45 quid we pay is already too much
