Noise from F15's over Norfolk

Anyone else heard the noisy planes all evening near Norwich?

I called Norwich airport and spoke to the flight controller who let slip that there are F15's up there making the noise.

Me thinks they are US F15's on high alert protecting the east coat.

Just as I type, they have stopped.
