I dunno if anyone heard the Brum fans on Talksport earlier?

But I heard 3 phone in and call for Steve Bruce to go, as they think he's tactically inept and incapable of picking the best team. They reckon the only reason they're where they are is because of the players he's brought in.

Firstly - You ungrateful f***ing bastards. You're top with a game in hand and you're moaning?

Secondly - Yes, HE brought the players in and they're performing. How can you argue that one exactly?

Thirdly - You're TOP, with a game in hand, in a position most teams in this league would dream of being in, yet you're STILL bloody moaning!

Reminds me of when they beat us in the playoff final. After that game as we were walking away barely any of their fans had a smile on their face.

They need to wake up and realise how bloody lucky they are.

As for tonight, great performance. Shows what we're capable of when ALL the players play with such commitment, passion, determination.

Marks for tonight:

Warner - 6 - Purely because he had bugger all to do, but at least put Jerome off well when he had his one chance in the second half.
Drury - 7 - Solid, was helped out well in defence by others
Shackell/Doc - 7 - Both played well for the majority of the game. Doc earned his wages alone today for the last ditch tackle on Forsell in the last few minutes when Forsell was almost guaranteed a goal from his position
Hughes - 8 - DEFINITELY better as a right back and hopefully will stay there now. Made a couple of vital interceptions, got us out of trouble a couple of times, played a few good balls forward that almost set up goals. One of his best games in a long while.
Lappin - 8 - One of the best dead ball players we've had here in a LONG LONG while. Put in some fantastic corners that on other days we'd have scored one or two from. Also worked his arse off.
Croft - 6 -Worked had in the first half tracking back but faded in second half and was brought off at the right time. Didn't make any real errors but didnt give a lot going forward.
Etuhu - 8 - IF he played like this every week he'd be a star at Norwich. Keep that kind of performance up Dickson and you'll be getting praise week in week out.
Safri - 7 - Was OK, has had better game sbut also had a lot worse.
Hucks - 9 - My man of the match. Worked his arse off for 90 minutes. I've NEVER seen Hucks chase and hassle players as much as that and STILL give as much going forward too. Thoroughly deserved his goal for the amount of effort he put in. In my opinion he's playing better for us this season than in the promotion season, despite the team not playing anywhere near as well.
Martin - 7 - Held the ball up well, had a couple of chances, but hey, he's scored loads recently, eventually he was going to fire blanks. Promising again though. VERY strong on the ball.
Chadwick - 6 - Made some good runs when we had the odd break at the end but then just ended up giving the ball away, which COULD have cost us. He'll get better as he gets fitter again though.

So there we go, my summing up. More of the same next game please boys!
