I agree that he needs a goal....

....but how many times should he be picked in the starting line-up? I think that he was given ample chances at Sunderland and just didn't produce the goods, hence the reason why they let him go. I'm sure Grant's intention was him to be the perfect foil for Earnshaw, unfortunately we haven't had a chance to see this combination in action.

I think the back four picks itself at the moment (with unfortunately Doherty being part of it, I really hope they don't offer him a new contract!) and I would prefer a five man midfield with Martin up front by himself. Presumably this would be, injuries permitting, Huckerby, Lappin, Fotheringham, Etuhu & Croft. How far away is Chadwick from being in contention?
