but that's what you employ a manager for!

for failed transfers the buck stops with him and he paid for the failure with his job (too late, but that was still the outcome)

if there had been a board member asking the questions and a transfer f**k up was made (which there would be at some point) would you also suggest that someone should be employed to question the board member's judgement who is responsible for question the manager's judgement?
