Ebay help, Sold a phone for a friend, 3 years old

Guy wants a partial refund for damage. Below are the damages. I don't like the idea of this, and you get what you pay for buying a used phone. Any advice on what to do?

hi. phone is water damaged.
1)the water marks on motherboard and on battery are red. its mean that phone has water damage.
2)port for charger is oxidised.
3)infrared port doesn't work.
therefore i want £12 discount
