let's be honest is also f**king boring unless you understand exactly what's going on.
Am well aware that to appreciate the sport properly you need to invest time in seeing through the surface brutality and seeing the strategy underneath. It really is the chess of team sports. Trouble is, very few people are willing to spend the time which is fair enough really. Why fight through boredom ?
Think it's a shame cos most intelligent people love it when they understand it. And I don't mean understand 1st & 10, etc - I mean understand Cover 1 vs Cover 4, zone blitz, pattern adjustment, under/over fronts, blitz packages, etc
