WAY too early to say things are on the way up yet...
We have NO idea who is staying and going in the summer with the hugely reduced money coming our way. Can't see anyone but EArnie going for big money anyway now and I imagine any Prem team who's after someone will wait til the Jan 08 transfer window now...
As for things being on the way up.....I'll agree or disagree with that after seeing Peter Grant's first close season and what he does in it......If he continues to buy like he has and can hold on to Earnie (which I dont see being a problem til AT LEAST January) then, MAYBE then, will I start believing we can do something.
It would have been easier to have given up my season ticket for next season with other things on, but 1. I would miss turning up every other week HUGELY, 2. I believe Peter Grant is slowly building things up and considering nearly all his signings have been injured or his better players that were already here have been injured he's done OK.
Let's hope we get a lot more next season, if I didn't believe we had a real chance of improving maybe I wouldn't have got my season ticket again....but I am a believer!
OTBC! ;)
