*did* give young players a chance. Spillane, Cave-Brown, Rossi J, Halliday, Eagle (and Ryan J & Hendo) all made their debuts before PG arrived. And some of them have just disappeared since PG arived.

Martin has taken his chance but it is luck, rather than PG's eye for talent, that presented him with the opportunity.
