I heard on the radio last night that they are getting £50,000 p/w from the FA
to "help" pay his wages. Presumably becuase he was on FA duty when he was injured. I'm not sure you're safe to take Owens injury as a comparison for other player's/club's situations, because of the international aspect of his injury.
