Two different things I'd imagine:

Earnie's medical insurance would pay for the medical treatment, physiotherapy, etc that he receives. Over here the way that works is that if it's under a certain amount you pay it yourself, and then are re-imbursed by the insurer. If it's over a certain amount you have a longer period in which to pay it and can send the invoice straight to the insurer.

HOWEVER, his salary is paid by insurance from the club, paid for by the club. This is not medical insurance.
