I'm in partial agreement

I do think that Grant has been pretty shrewd (get rid of Robinson, poorer players out on loan etc), but I'm not really sure that anyone would have done that well in the transfer market with what is clearly a limited budget and the enticement of a club in a relegation battle. However, a 'bigger' manager might have made players more confident that the battle would have been won. I also think there are a lot of 'new manager' mistakes going on and Saturday was worrying, even with the depleted and late squad selection, in the way that we played people all over the place again. I waver all the time - most of me says he's solid, and in better circumstances would do very well, but then, as you say, naivete leads to some shocking moments.
