Whatever happened to our parents being our role models? If we seriously expect footballers or actors to set the example nowadays, it says far more about society than it does about them. I mean, can anyone imagine a club turning away a hugely talented player in his teens because he "can't speak proper", or something? Thought not.

And in any case: what happened earlier was absolutely hilarious! Why the media has to whip itself up into a moralising frenzy and pretend otherwise is completely beyond me: football is a passionate, emotional game, and one of the reasons we're so in love with it is because of incidents like this.
