... WHY are we skint when Birmingham, West Brom, Sunderland, Southampton and Palace apparently aren't? And why are four of these five in contention to go back up (with the fifth still doing better than us despite their fans being mighty unhappy with things at the moment), many with exactly the larger squads which you reckon can be so difficult to keep motivated?
As a Binner justifiably commented on TWTD the other day: at least they have the excuse of expecting a season like this given all their financial problems. For a club like Norwich to be in this situation less than 2 years after relegation is almost impossible to comprehend. Or, to put it another way: a Watford fan on 606 was asked the other day how he thought his club would get on back in the Championship. Well enough, he thought - but he admitted to being scared of turning into 'another Norwich'.
Says it all that, don't you think?
