Twathorn on Safri's influence: co-incidence

The change came in the 70th minute as Safri replaced Hughes. All of which left City going three at the back with the Moroccan playmaker restored to his shielding role in front of Shackell and Doherty. Fotheringham was left to float about behind Huckerby and Martin. Or at least for the time it took for Paul McVeigh to arrive as a 74th minute substitute.

Coincidence or not, it prompted a better spell from the Canaries which saw Sky Blue bodies throwing themselves this way and that in defence of their goal; an injury to Kyle halted Norwich's brief momentum.
