Certainly

Urine is an unpleasantly-smelling substance, though its aroma can be improved by the prior ingestion of asparagus as well as certain other olfactorily active ingredients. It should not be drunk neat, but in desert conditions can be used to distill pure water (the most common arrangement involves two connected bottles, one more submerged in the sand than the other to achieve a temperature differential) to stave off dehydration. The urea in urine acts as a natural disinfectant and in cultures where water is sparse urine is sometimes used to wash hair and other things with. It has also traditionally been added to grapes during the foot-trampling process in French, Spanish and Italian vineyards (in particular, though the practice is undoubtedly also more widespread).

Overall, then, "wee" is a useful substance which, while unpalatable on its own, has a number of applications, particularly in hot climates.
