Is Safri's fitness key to our survival?
We had lost 5 games in a row or 6 losses out of 7 (with the terrible West Brom win being the only game we didn't lose). After the Arsenal game, Worthy got struck by lightening and made the changes we needed. In came Safri, Helveg and Bentley (OK Bentley and Helveg were returning from injury so maybe lightening strike not required) for Holt, Edworthy and Stuart.
We have now just won 4 out of 6 games with only one loss. Bentley and Helveg have both played well but neither has been as consistently good as Safri who has made the real difference in the last 6 games IMO. Think he will be fit for Sunday but I will be rather worried if we see the return of Holt. Been saying all season that I didn't think we'd survive with Holt in the team. Be very cruel if I was proved right in the final game. Get well soon Safri!
Youssef, Youssef, Youssef
If he wasn't fit, I'd go for Helveg in the middle instead with Edworthy coming back in at right back. Or possibly Stuart to avoid disrupting the back four.
