Here we go again. It's not permissible to

make observations, even when based on reasonable grounds, if they are not positive.

Look, I think w played well today. Some of the new signings look useful (Lappin, Fotheringham), I think Martin is perhaps the most exciting youngster we've had for some time. Hughes did well today (though he is still a very poor footballer) because what he is good at is stopping others from playing.

But in my opinion Brown is destined to become a very bad signing indeed for Norwich City. I really do think we've seen enough to realise that, despite our initial hopes and Grant's spin, his career record isn't telling lies.

Arganth, I am truly sorry for holding these opinions but is it any good to live a lie and say Brown is a great player, or even that he might become one, when bitter experience (and 1 goal in 11 starts for Hull) tells us otherwise?
