I don't think Brown is a decent player -

This is based on the number of games I've seen him play, which is now three. I'm not judging him solely against an unfit John Terry, but over the games that I have attended.

As a centre forward he needs to either have pace or be a target man, and have a presence in the opposition penalty box.

He doesn't seem to bring any of these qualities to the party.

Ultimately forwards are judged on goals - ones they score or ones that have helped to set up. He has one credit so far, for Blackpool with his interception of a backpass. And more than a few debits from his defending of cormers.

As posted previously, I hope I am wrong on my opinion of him, but on what I have seen so far, I'm not hopeful.
