i am writing to say how overjoyed i was when i heard that you were leaving my favourite football club, norwich city.
i have followed norwich for many years, and have witnessed some truly inept perfomances by players in that time (simon tracey in the fa cup at everton, darren kenton against stockport county, and dean coney everytime he pulled on the shirt, to name but a few). however, your first half display against everton last season beat the lot- that day you really took the biscuit (or should i say pastry). in fact, only your own masterclass in how not to defend at old trafford came close to beating it.
so you see, you leave in the knowledge that your place in norwich city history is reserved. i wish you all the best in your new career at german giants supercalifragilistic borussia monchengladbach.

ps please pass on my best wishes to that noce mr olsen, and tell him i very much hope he fails in his efforts to qualify for the world cup finals, and loses his job as a result.
