I've stayed at a ma-hoo-sive amount of places in Brighton...

...most of them are average for the inflated price. Best value I found, and it ain't cos of the name, which I may have slightly wrong, was The Norfolk Hotel (West Pier end of the sea front.) Wasn't particularly plush or nuffink, but massive room, a balcony over looking the sea front - the balcony was ridiculously large as well - and decent brekkie. At the Palace Pier end the Queens Hotel (apt name if it's correct) which was quite modern, well, the room was. The Stakis was terrible value for money...
