I agree I'd prefer him to McVeigh on the bench, but thats because I think...

McVeigh is a lazy fat boozy w**ker (disclaimer: these are not the opinions of the whole board etc etc....).

I'm sure if Grant thought he was ready for a cut and thrust ... gulp... relegation six-pointer, then he would be on the bench - becuase on the face of it, having no defensive cover other than Hooves does look risky.
