first i've heard of that but...

i shall be making sure i turn extra lights on during those 5 minutes cos it's a froggy idea...

though seriously, you probably have more than a point especially with those strip lights which (as i was told at school) use more electricity powering up if they've been switched off overnight than they do if they're left on 24hrs a day
