Mark McKAY Fotheringham played on the left side of a centre midfield.....

pair at Dundee.

He was one of the higher earners at Dundee and a legend with the fans in his two seasons there, but left at the end of the 2003/4 season when Dundee were relegated from the SPL and went into administration (a la the Scum) with huge debts and no money.

A mate of mine is the 1st team coach at Peterhead who yesterday signed defender Bobby Mann from Dundee. I spoke to Dave last night and asked him to find out whether Mann rated Fotheringham. He's just phoned me at work with the answer that, if he's played in the right position in the right system, he will do very well for us.

The right position being on the left a a centre midfield pairing with the remit to support the strikers and in a team which plays passing football with two wingers!

So lets see what happens!?
