And thought Worthington's treatment of him was stupid, pedantic, and entirely consistent with so many British manager's nauseating distrust of foreign footballers who can actually play a bit. The only continental players these kind of managers tolerate tend to be Scandinavian: because they're physical and direct, just like us. It'd be nice if a few more managers actually got over their daft stereotypes and opened their minds a bit: but I'm not exactly holding my breath, I'm afraid...
