by this patronising and insulting spin from Doncaster?

I wish he'd write the truth:

'The board and previous manager have been exposed for their dreadful players selection and contract negotiations. We recognise that we have been left with a low quality overpaid squad of players. In an attempt to prevent a repeat of this we have hired a cheap manager who is calling upon his network of mediocre Scottish contacts to bring in cheap players on modest wages whilst at the same time trying to get as many players off the books as possible.

'It has been difficult to persuade any good players to come to Norwich and to persuade any other clubs to relieve us of the dross we have accumulated but we have managed to ship a couple out. Sadly relegation may follow but as long as our fans keep renewing their season tickets and the club's off-field development continues we don't really mind.
