We lost last night because of our joke of a squad

In geeneral I thought we played wel but once again our joke of a squad undermined us. Given this it beggars belief that grant is letting Fleming and Robinson go and (apparently) not bringing in any defenders today.

Fact - we had to play an unfit Shackell because we did not have any other central defenders in the squad (having loaned our only back-up centre half to our opponants and with Grant seemingly unwilling to play Spillane)

Fact - because he was not fully fit Shack unsurprisingly picked up a further injury and will now probably be out longer than previously thought.

Fact - when he went off we immediately struggled in defence and Wolves got behind us about 3 times in 5 minutes eventually resulting in their goal. If we had had replacement centre-half that probably would not have happened. Robinson was playing quite well in midfield and after the gaold was barely tested due to Breen getting himself sent off.

Grants decision to play an unfit Shack without Spillane on the bench was ridiculaous but last night was really a culmination of the erosion of our squad in key areas in recent times.

If he lets Flem go today wothout having a surefire replacement lined up then he is an imbecile!
