Gary Doherty, signed by Worthington as a premiership centre back whilst the board were deep in consultation on the black cherry vs bramley apple controversy; an elderly centre forward; and an inadequate cenre midfielder. Unsurprisingly the latter two played far better than the man with the oh-so-professional attitude.
