I work with Scandinavians of all sorts
I find their spoken and written English is more than adequate. Granted that my colleagues are nearly all University educated where English is required for most technical texts. We do struggle with the Finns a bit; but their first language is not Germanic in root. Scandos only bettered by the Dutch in my experience.
And to be honest, native English speakers written English can be appalling - as we witness on this board every day ...
