Cameron isn't Gordon Brown. He will f*** up monumentally as PM. He's OK (but a meddlesome, evil bastard) as Chancellor but he isn't PM material.

That, and there's a whole generation of voters who have no first hand experience of Thatcher, and can barely remember 1997, which means harping back to the 'Tory years' as an argument to keep Labour in is wasted rhetoric.

Plus I'd say there's a similar groundswell against Blair's govt as there was against Thatcher, and that'll hamstring Brown just like it did Major.
