Well...
It was a good cup tie - and given Blackpool's league position a good result. And a fair one. Most of our players played well - with the normal exceptions - Etuhu did nothing again (and if you're muscled off the ball by Forbesy you really do have problems). Doherty was Blackpool's most dangerous player - just as he was Plymouth's. Robinson was his usual s**t self in midfield, but was refreshingly capable when put into the back 4. Huckerby looked good through the middle - clearly the replacement for Earnshaw? Even McVeigh came on and looked good - one sensational cross-field to Huckerby. Brown looked good on the ground - less so in the air. The sending off was unfortunate - the first yellow was for nothing much and he was stupid for the second. But how many times have opponents deliberately hand-balled and not got booked (Kavanagh of Sunderland for example)? Why isn't the letter of the law ever applied in our favour?

- It was quite a good game, albeit unincumbered by too much skill. (n/m) (NCFC) - tudders, Jan 28, 10:56:49
