Balls is overly negative, even our championship season didn't really lighten his mood. The wins against Ipswich & Gillingham saw us gain 6 points - the lack of performance was irrelevant.

Now his opinion is more reflective of others but, as they say, a broken clock is right twice a day.

What about "My record"? I don't set myself up to be an opinion former or get paid for writing. And you, and others, are welcome to fill cyberspace with your stuff. It makes no odds to my career prospects.

As for me slagging off the right to protest; wrong. Protest helped Chase on his way after all. But the WO campaign came up with lots of pure squit and was often emotive and inaccurate.

And finally, "fall from grace" - c'mon, we are hardly Wimbledon. We got promoted then got relegated - big deal. Failing to bounce-back is now the norm, not the exception.
