Archant in made-up story shocker

Having peddled the "13 players out of contract in the summer" story, and getting Hucks on board with their theory, they have now had their 'facts' corrected.

Interestingly, the Pink Un squad pages list player contracts, and it clearly states that Drury, Doherty, Cave-Brown, Eagle, Fisk and Halliday have one-year options past this year.

PLus the rules state that any player under 24 is not free to leave, even if his contract expires - that means Hendo & Lewis.

And finally, as our parachute money stops this summer, is it illogical that senior players were given deals that expire in June 07?

It is a great way to fill pages though - make up stuff and then correct it later in the week.
