fom what they said on tv he was using normal scuba (open circuit). White sharks have been known too attack divers with open circuit, due to the bubbles which are released as you exhale. They are attracted to the bubbles. Hence why when you dive in white shark areas you generally free dive or use re-breathers (closed circuit) which expel no bubbles at all. It's not always possible to use this kit because you need specific traynun and it is expensive, but people who are actively seeking the white sharks will always use it. Unless they're f**king stooput.
