Chief scout changed in 2001

Prior to that it was Duncan Forbes, since then Alan Wood and I presume each had his own network of contacts. Certainly don't think things have improved since Duncan left, this t**t seems incapable of looking in tthe lower leagues where in Forbseys time we picked up several. By the way why the angst against Newman, he did a bloody good job for the club in our most succesful period. It is also interesting that poss Stringers worst signing was Beckford which was the only time we went away from the policy of buying cheap
