Now here's a thing
with the exception of Shackell and McVeigh those are all Worthington signings. But Worthington wasn't the only one involved. Who, for instance, determined their fitness? Are we to believe that Thorne, for example, was passed fit enough to sign for us, and has never been fit again since that day? Rather than trying to work out ways of selling extra pies perhaps the board could take a look at what medical tests were done on Thorne and see if the people responsible are competent to remain on the payroll?
Who scouted the likes of Etuhu and Doherty? Because the performances they are turning in match pretty exactly what the fans at their previous clubs said. Instead of working out what to do with the club's land, perhaps someone could take 5 minutes to read the scouting reports on the failed signings and see if the people responsible are competant to remain on the payroll?
I wonder how much Doncaster is paid to decide that the mistakes of the past are irrelevant and should not be mentioned, when most of the people who contributed to those mistakes are still on the payroll?
